A Welcome Return

South Seas is delighted to welcome guests back to our white-sand shores.

Upon your first visit back to our property, you may notice South Seas looks a little different. While select areas of the resort remain under construction and some amenities may be more limited than you are accustomed to, we continue to make significant progress in our recovery and rebuilding efforts. We began accepting reservations for select Homes of Distinction and Villas in the summer of 2023, marking an important milestone in our work towards rebuilding from the devastation of Hurricane Ian in 2022. Additional accommodations will continue to become available, increasing considerably in the spring of 2024.

Guests have access to our two-and-a-half glorious miles of pristine white-sand beaches where you can take in our famous sunsets, world-renowned shelling, and incredible natural wildlife. From bicycling and walking the shoreline, to simply relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family, new experiences and fond memories await.

Guest Safety

To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, please be aware the resort is currently undergoing significant construction and improvements to further restore and add new amenity spaces.

During your stay, you may encounter heavy equipment moving along the roadways and association parking lots, and near private homes and villa drives. Some of the machinery sits at a considerable height from the ground, which may obstruct the operator’s line of vision. For your safety, we kindly request that if you are driving, please adhere to the posted speed limits and come to a complete stop at stop signs. For those who are biking, walking, or jogging, please remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings.

To ensure your safety throughout the property, we have erected protective barriers around areas that are currently under construction. Even if there is no visible sign of construction, certain areas have been cordoned off due to potential hazards.
