From splashy water zones to serene spa treatments, here’s a look at what’s coming soon to our beloved slice of Captiva Island.
Water Sports
Targeted Opening Date: Spring 2025
Whether you seek adventure or a peaceful day on the water, there is no better way to explore the stunning coastline and serene mangroves of Captiva Island than a self-led exploration. Our water sports equipment rental service will provide paddleboards, kayaks, boogie boards, and more to help adventurers of all ages and abilities experience the best of our marine ecosystem.

Harborside
Targeted Opening Date: Late Spring 2025
Anchored along Yacht Harbour Marina, this Italian steakhouse-inspired restaurant will deliver prime cuts, fresh Gulf seafood, handmade pasta, and elevated coastal classics. Enjoy views as stunning as the wine list, with both indoor and al fresco seating.
Beach House
Targeted Opening Date: Summer 2025
With unobstructed views of Sunset Beach and a relaxed indoor-outdoor atmosphere, the Beach House may become your new favorite spot for gathering with friends and family for fresh-caught flavor and golden-hour cocktails. Think blackened grouper, tropical ceviche, and tranquil sunset vibes.
Captiva Landing
Targeted Opening Date: Summer 2025
Anchored on over 2 ½ acres of island fun, Captiva Landing is our boldest family-focused addition yet—and it’s making waves.
With multiple experience zones for every interest, including one reserved just for the adults, Captiva Landing will become your go-to freshwater haven at South Seas.
Bottlenose Bay: A whimsical splash zone with six thrilling water slides, tipping buckets, water cannons, and endless giggles.
Gulfstream Lazy River: Drift the day away beneath swaying palms and sunny skies and experience pure island bliss.
The Cove: An adults-only retreat made for quiet lounging and uninterrupted serenity.
Flippers: With a playful island atmosphere, this quick-service restaurant will please all ages with craveable treats like burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and soft-serve ice cream.
The Arcade: Retro arcade meets island style. Think vintage pinball, classic favorites, and carefree fun.
Camp-tiva: A nature-based kids club with enriching hands-on ecological activities set within our 330-acre wildlife preserve.
This vibrant new hub will be available exclusively to guests and owners with Club Captiva access.

The Spa at South Seas
Targeted Opening Date: To Be Announced
A luxurious, full-service spa is on its way to South Seas, bringing rest, rejuvenation, and island-inspired wellness to the heart of the resort. Expect tailored treatments, indulgent rituals, and serene surroundings designed for total relaxation.
The adjoining Fitness Center will feature state-of-the-art equipment, a motion studio for group classes, and a view overlooking Yacht Harbour Marina that will make every workout feel like a reward.
In the interim, guests and owners with Club Captiva access can use the fitness facilities at the south end of the resort.
