We are proud to announce the first annual South Seas Tarpon Tournament, scheduled for May 17, 2024 with proceeds supporting Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members and First Responders.
Casting for a Cause | $150,000 Goal
Proceeds from sponsorships of the fishing tournament will go directly to Folds of Honor scholarship recipients in the Captiva, Sanibel, and Fort Myers, Florida area. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to fund multiple Lee County scholarships and raise awareness for an organization that ensures families who have sacrificed for our country and our local community receive the education and opportunities they deserve.
Sponsorship opportunities begin at $1,000, while our title level, Tarpon Sponsorship, includes a generous 5 scholarships for local recipients; 3 complimentary anglers and 1 celebrity captain along with inclusion in marketing materials.
Join the Fray | 100% Payback
Lines will begin hitting the water for the catch-and-release tarpon tournament beginning at
6:30 AM on Friday, May 17th with 100% of the entry fees being awarded to the winners of the tournament. The cost to fish is $1,000 per team (max 4 people per boat with a captain), with the tournament wrapping at 3:00 PM, followed by dinner and an awards presentation at 6:00 PM.
Sponsors and participants are invited to join us on stunning Captiva Island for food, prizes, and entertainment at the dinner along with additional activities taking place throughout the weekend to be announced.
